There's likely not a person in this world who doesn't like sweatpants. They're incredibly comfortable and just hit the spot if you're lounging around at home. But can the loungewear ever actually be worn out in public? and more importantly can they ever be considered stylish? and the answer is YES and YES. 

But there are still do's and dont's to wearing them fashionably. The goal is to wear your sweatpants without actually looking like you're wearing sweatpants. The new sweatpants are slim, sleek and super flattering these updates sweats are a fresh alternative to cargos or even your favorite skinnies so here I leave you with 8 different choices of sweats that won't break your back account because let's be honest $250 bucks for a pair of sweats it's just ABSURD. At least that's my humble opinion.

When it comes to kids wear, we're big fans of bold & unique prints which is way we have been fans of Acanthus      Apparel for quite sometime now. Designed and manufactured here in Des Moines, the brand is set to launch their first kids collection at the beginning of October. The collection is filled with bees, foxes and whales on leggings, shirts, sweatshirts and cardigans. And also some cute accessories like slouchy hats and cowls.

I'll suggest you keep your eye on  Acanthus Apparel not just for this collection but to see what they have planned season after season for our wee ones.

MOTHERHOOD & THE CHRIS VANCE MURAL.

Motherhood around here is waking up on a Sunday at 6:30am to Azul's tiny voice saying "today is my fothoshoooot" even tho the photoshoot wasn't scheduled until 2:30pm, I'll tell you she was so excited about modeling for Acanthus apparel fall/ winter line that for 3 days straight that's the only thing she talk about. 

Waffles for breakfast. Every day

Watching an awful lot of Peppa Pig & Power Rangers.

Answering questions like "mami, why im little" "I'm gonna be big tomorrow right?" NO KID! you are going to stay little forever  so I can keep you by my side forever.

Realizing that they are so very ready to start Pre-K but I am not :(

Motherhood right now is, tiring, nuts, fun & challenging but oh so very AWESOME! and I wouldn't change a thing about it.
